phew....am i glad the weekends over....first time u hear me feeling so uptight over weekends eh? lOl

on sunday....headed down at 9.20 and started the queue....but oh boy....wat a long queue....in the end i queued till 6.30 and they stopped taking in anymore participants for the day and they told us to come back on monday....

i was given a time slot of 10am...

i was hungry....tired....hot....sticky....and moodless by then...and can u believe it? i actually got a tan from queueing....wahaha....unbelievable...and i ate nothing but a Filet-o-Fish, green tea, 2 herbal tea (chrysanthemum and honey lemon) and a bird's nest!!! mummy bought that bird's nest for me....wahaha....

so on monday, yesterday, i was down again at 9.25...queued till 12+ and finally got near to the audition room. getting all the butterflies and jitters! coz before me, 20+ ppl were out! my fren was before me with the number 6081 and i was of coz 6082....he went in quite long...and he got in! he was damn happy....i was thinking...dont think can get in ler lar...

i went in...sang my first song...then they asked for a 2nd song....they gave comments like ::

"u look like Su Yong Kang leh..."
"u too nasal in ur singing"
"u use too much force"
"u from church choir right? try singing a christian song!"
"can u sing without ur specs?"
"wah...u look even better without specs!!!"

so i took off my specs and sang a short part from Power of Love...and they ask me too look at the lights...and "ding!" i got in!

was i elated!!! lol...

i ran out and hugged my fren....

then the crew wanna interview us together....first interview my fren...then im suppose to do some acting. run out from room...go to him and hug him! lOl....then they interview me....then interview us both together and finally ask us to sing a song together....and we sang "Ni Na Me Ai Ta"...then we went to do some admin and logistics stuff and left!

the cameraman said this before we leave, "if u 2 dont go far in this competition, u 2 can consider acting..." lOl...that was hilarious...

anyway...thx guys for all the support and encouragement....and gotta thank God for listening to my prayers too!

2nd round coming up on 16th Sept! :p wish me all the best!
